PLĀS presents UNSEEN REALITIES, their second limited edition collection created in tandem with artists, crafters, and designers.



The UNSEEN REALITIES collection was launched as a group show at SomoS Arts in Berlin in November 2022. PLĀS Collective is a symbiotic, nomadic collective and creative studio. It is a buzzing ecosystem of artists, crafters, and designers fostering cultural innovation across disciplines and national borders, creating an inclusive platform for young artists. Each year, PLĀS calls for creatives to participate in an interconnected system of works around a theme, developing and creating together limited-edition collectibles. 

The UNSEEN REALITIES microcosm is made up of six unique, limited edition garments featuring PLĀS’ signature ORACLE stitch in a variety of colours, and an infinitely growing and buzzing ecosystem of artists and creatures who have joined forces to bring their unique visions to the PLĀS universe. Elenia Beretta, ruustcakes, Ondrej Vanek, Irene Fernández Arcas, Stefanija Pejchinovska, Sara Scanderebech, Pablo Diserens + Diane Barbé, and Chika Takahashi, along with the wearable pieces, have together constructed a universe of UNSEEN REALITIES, their idiosyncratic interpretations of this obscure realm through a variety of expressions and mediums such as painting, baking, knitting, hand embroidery, photography, field recording, sound experimenting, and much, much more.


How do we cope with these unseen realities?
How do we adapt to them? Or better yet, how do we stay one step ahead of them?
